The Mercia Novice Open is taking place on Sunday 18th February 2024 (at Allestree Woodlands School in Derby).

This is a non-ranking competition for fencers aged 13 or older as of 1/1/24 with Starter, Recreational or Compete membership of British Fencing. First time competitors are particularly welcome.

2 rounds of poules, so plenty of fencing on the day – poules may be mixed gender, depending on entries (we didn’t need to do that last year, so🤞), but DE round(s) will be single gender.
